The Shri Sathya Sai School is built upon the philosophy that architecture should align with education. The project envisions the school as a tool for “rudimentary learning,” where the physical structure reinforces the curriculum. The overarching goal is to foster an environment that raises student aspirations and strengthens the partnership between child, teacher, and parent.
The building’s design language is derived from the fundamental building blocks of early childhood education. It explicitly employs Primary Colors & Primary Shapes. By integrating these elements into the overall structure, the building becomes a “living textbook,” creating a vibrant and recognizable environment for kindergarten students.
The interior environment is designed to be visually open and naturally illuminated. An abundance of daylight is prioritized to help create a healthy, energetic atmosphere and the layout emphasizes clear visual connections through the building, ensuring safety and promoting a sense of openness.
