Gandhi foundation building in India comes from the Colonial or traditional Indian architecture structure. For a Gandhi foundation building in Fiji, warranted a Fijian fusion. The façade is inspired by the local leaves mat’s weave pattern to bring local culture to the design. The entrance door resembles the starting of a knot of the weave pattern, with three scaled Gandhi walking sculpture towards the entrance door. To keep the region, cool and reasonable there are water tanks and sun powered boards on the rooftop region.
The workshop or Think Tank Space is made with a drape associated with a round track when encased makes a space all alone. The building function includes a dedicated Gandhi flexible library space that displays books, artifacts and digital format, lecture or workshop space.
The plan layout is a derivative of the Gandhi cloth spinning wheel. Gandhi face outline is extruded, and shelving has been created. The Architecture facade is developed through a local context.
