The project utilizes a linear, cellular arrangement. The plan is divided into distinct “living modules” that repeat a specific rhythm, echoing Le Corbusier’s Machine for Living concept. Each unit is a self-contained ecosystem, featuring integrated kitchenettes, wet areas (bathrooms), and sitting zones.
The strategy here is zonal separation, The Private Core spaces like Bedrooms and quiet zones are clustered at one end of the axis while the Service Spaces like Bathrooms and laundry facilities are centralized to streamline plumbing and mechanical systems and the Social Interface spaces like Living and dining areas connect to outdoor spaces, mitigating the potential claustrophobia of high-density living.
The presence of wide clearances and threshold ramps indicates a commitment to Universal Design. The layout ensures that movement is not just efficient, but equitable, catering to residents with varying mobility needs.
The circulation is structured around a main arterial driveway and walkway, which acts as the “public street” for the development, transitioning from the communal parking and entry points to the private thresholds of each dwelling.
