Savusavu, Fiji air terminal endeavours to give an island feel, and henceforth acquires the veneer designs from the conventional fabric called TAPI – masi giving a Fijian look yet in co-working the development frameworks of air terminal plan from abroad.

DesignLife offered a sustainable airport design concept that can help facilitate a significant benefit that can improve the passenger experience.

The airport design offers all the facilities to enable security and safe facilitation and travel. The success of an airport is conventionally measured by its efficiency, by its ability to manage the arrival and departure of planes with the minimum passenger in circulation.

DesignLife is committed to helping make the airport of the future a reality. The proposal shared by DesignLife forms a landscape and brings the life of “tourism” to the community of Savusavu.

The design structure will be implemented by considering primary environmental issues like noise pollution, land utilization, congestion and enable the travellers to have a peaceful journey. The facade is cultural contextual, use local print forms.
